I do not think I will be able to keep a daily log, but I will try my best to visit this diary and post more than once a week;
if I am able to visit more than once a week I will post here.
Friday, February 9, 2001 Here is a poem my niece wrote. I wanted to share it with you. I think she did a very good
job. "Nowhere Man" Nowhere Man is man that does not know what to do with his life. He is getting
out of high school. He won't listen to anyone what he can do for his life. He does not know if he will go to college to
get a good paying job. Doesn't have a point of view of life. He will not know what he is missing in life if he does not
go out in the world and go get it. It is his command of what he will do, but he does not know what to do. He is blind to
you and me, but to his self he can see only what he wants to see. The nowhere man is not in a worry or a hurry he is just
taking his time on what he going to do. Try to make your mind up. There places you can go. Please listen to me takes my advice
and listen, or you will not know what you're missing. Why do you not make a choice, your whole life might depend on this
one decision you've had all year for this big decision. I would tell you what to do but you don't listen. Your in your own
little world and you don't listen too anyone but yourself. You don't have a clue what college you might be going to. There
are many colleges you can try just take my advice and listen please. This is your choice and I know it is hard but it is
your choice of what you want to do. I just want to help you with a choice because you are so clueless of what you what to
do. Nowhere man this is your choice, for yourself open your eyes, and look around the world for all the opportunities for
you.
Thursday, January 25 This is really funny. I found it in my email. My niece, Aimee, was sweet enough to think
of her aunt. It will really make you laugh out loud. There was a guy in a bar one night that got really
drunk, I mean really, really, really drunk. When the bar closed he got up to go home. As he stumbled out
the door, he saw a nun walking on the sidewalk, so he stumbled over to the nun and punched her in the face.
Well the nun was really surprised, but before she could do or say anything, he punched her again. This time
she fell down, and he stumbled over to her and kicked her in the butt, but then he picked her up and threw into a
wall. By this time the nun was pretty weak and couldn't move very much, so then he stumbled over to her,
put his face right next to hers and said................. "Not very strong tonight, are you Batman?"
Wednesday, January 24 I found this in my email this morning. I wanted to share it with you. This was written
by a teen in Bagdad, Arizona. This is incredible!!!!!!!!!!! Now I sit me down in school Where praying is against
the rule For this great nation under God Finds mention of Him very odd. If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights. And anytime my head I bow Becomes a Federal matter now. Our hair can be
purple, orange or green, That's no offense; it's a freedom scene. The law is specific, the law is precise. Prayers
spoken aloud are a serious vice. For praying in a public hall Might offend someone with no faith at all. In
silence alone we must meditate, God's name is prohibited by the state. We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks. They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible. To quote the Good Book
makes me liable. We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen, And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King. It's "inappropriate"
to teach right from wrong, We're taught that such "judgments" do not belong. We can get our condoms and
birth controls, Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles. But the Ten Commandments are not allowed, No word
of God must reach this crowd. It's scary here I must confess, When chaos reigns the school's a mess. So, Lord,
this silent plea I make: Should I be shot; My soul please take! Amen If you aren't ashamed to do this,
please follow the directions. Jesus said, " if you are ashamed of me," I will be ashamed of you before
my Father." Not ashamed Pass this on . . . only if you mean it. * Yes, I do Love God. He is my source
of existence and* Savior. He keeps me functioning each and everyday. * Without Him, I will be nothing. without
him, I am nothing but with Him I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. Phil 4:13 This
is the simplest test . . . if* you Love God, and are not ashamed of all the marvelous things he has done for you.
Send this to ten people.
